If you're looking for something that doesn't take much time, then arbitrage and amazon sites are not for you. It's extremely time consuming. It's well worth it if you're successful but it takes time.

Creating the account on your host
uploading the site
creating the database
configuring the site
building a sitemap
submitting to google
building backlinks


Each of these steps can be optimized in some way. You can find unregistered domains and create them in bulk. You can build a script that will create a hosting account and database, install yoursoftware and even build your sitemap. All of these things can be automated.

If you have a clear goal in mind, you can scale it up and really do well. It's all aggregate traffic, and it increases exponentially as you add more sites. But remember, there is always the law of diminishing returns and at some point you will be wasting time and money trying to expand. The key is knowing when that point is.
