When trying to gain backlinks from forum profiles and signature posts as well as article submission sites like eHow or from posting blog comments, how do you know if the site is a nofollow site or a dofollow site?
#dofollow #nofollow #site

Thanks! I tried to install it, but I couldn't, it states that it is for older versions of firefox... Any idea how to get it to work in firefox 3.6?

To make it work with 3.6, do the following:
        1. Use a browser other than Firefox 3.6 to go to NoDoFollow download page. (addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5687)
        2. Save install link to local drive (right click Save Target As... in IE)
        3. Unzip the .xpi file (7zip or WinZip works).
        4. Use Notepad or other plain text editor to open "install.rdf".
        5. Change "em:maxVersion" to Version "3.6.*"
        6. Save edited file back into zip file.
        7. If necessary, rename the archive from .zip to .xpi
        8. Open .xpi file with Firefox to install new version.
I used this same technique to update my Firefox theme to work in 3.6 even though it says it only works in 3.5 or lower.

another way if you can't install firfox is to go onto an existing page and

      right click

      go to view source

and then look at the html of a link that someone else has set up and whether or not it has the rel=nofollow tag

Just install Mozilla no follow addon in your browser then it will highlight the no follow link in red.

Install "SEO for Firefox" tool. This shows if a link on a webpage is nofollow or dofollow. If the link turns red it is a Nofollow link if it changes to whatever the website standard is then it is a dofollow link.
