Ahhhhh...why wont my Adwords ads appear?

Hey warriors,

This is really annoying me. I cant get my ads to display no matter what I try.

My daily budget is $150 per day and max CPC $1.50. The quality scores for the keywords are 7/10.

Is there something wrong here? I have the keywords entered as "keyword" for the phrase but when I type in the keywords to Google, I dont see my ads at all for any of them.

Am I doing something wrong because other people's ads are displaying?

Any help would be great!

Si

is your stats saying you are getting impressions ? is you account active / you have not been banned ?

lastly go to your tools and use the ad preview tool to viewyour ads and see if that will fire

Ah I see what might be the problem...

Just maybe you forgot to turn off the other networks in the settings of your campaign... You know what I mean? Its in the section
            "Networks, devices, and extensions"
and in the networks you need to untick content network...

The content network is the thing that is generating all your impressions because it makes your ads apear in related sites but not actual google search...

            Makes Sense?

Content network is clicked off and i only want them displayed on search network.

Would it be anything to do with having it on auto click bid and the amount of budget per day?

Okay, I think one of the following reasons might cause your problem:

      - In campaign settings: Set delivery method to accelerated. This will make sure your ad is really shown at every search for that kw, whilst with standard your daily budget is taken into calculation and if it isn't high enough you'll miss out on a lot of impressions.

      - Targeting. Do you target enough countrys to have significant traffic numbers? If not so, you should consider targeting more countries. If it's about english speaking traffic feel free to pm me so I can give you a list of countrys I had the biggest success with. By the way, if you're trying to view your ad through google and you're not living in one of the target countries, you won't see your ads even if you use the google url of that country (google.co.uk etc.). Always use the ad preview tool with proper settings.

      - Keywords: Maybe your keywords simply don't have more traffic, and it also depends if you set them to broad, phrase or exact.

And to give you a small tip: Don't use automatic bidding! Change this to manual bidding. I've never had any luck with automatic bidding and often times it costs you both arms and both legs compared to manual bidding. Make sure you adjust your cpc's to make sure your ads are being shown in a page one position or you won't get a lot of views, too.

I hope I could help you out.

I only want the ads to show for the exact phrase so I have the keywords in "keyword". Is this making it limited? It's just i notice for typing in the keyword phrase, other ads are showing.

I cant find the accelerated setting in campaign settings, where is it?

Thanks for your help R. Shawner

In the home screen click your campaign and you'll find it in the "settings" tab.

I have managed to set the campaign to 'accelerated' but this has had no impact.

I have my campaign set to 'All Territories', put my bidding to manual at $100/day and max $2.00 per click and still nothing.

I have even taken the " and the [] off my keywords and still can't see my ads displayed.

There are other competitor ads displaying for the keywords so I am completely BAFFLED as to why mine aren't.

              More help please?

              Thanks for all your responses,

you mentioned that you had impressions, i think you may just have a low searched keyword ?

how many keywords are you running here ?

                  I have 5 running.

I just don't understand how other competitor ads are showing for all of my keywords and mine isn't getting any impressions or appearances.

I've had a very similar problem. I'm running a campaign with over 15,000 keywords...

Okay, since u said somewhere in the thread that you already had some impressions i kinda forgot about the following issue:

Go to your campaign and click the "keywords" tab. There, in the "status" tab, hover over that small bubble. What's the pop-up saying? Showing ads right now? Quality Score? If your ad really isn't showing the problem should be diagnosed there. If it says your ad is showing, then the only conclusion would be that there simply isn't more traffic for your keywords. You may also try the Ads Diagnostic Tool to figure out if your ad is shown or not.

                      Best regards,

                      -R. Shawner

Seems the answer is time... It takes time Google to show your ads.

    be patient,
