One of my websites is stuck on page three of Google for weeks

I've had a website launched for about 2 months now. It's was no where to be found on Google but I continued to write articles and use blog signatures to promote my site.....when I might hit the serps it started at position #150 then in one week is shot up to the 3rd spot on the 3rd page...one week later is ranks on the #1 spot of the third page but it's stuck.

I've been building other backlinks to the but a few weeks later and it's still stuck....any ideas?

    Sometimes it takes awhile, remember two months is not very long sometimes it looks like nothing is going on and then you get a good jump. I would keep building links but you may think about diversifying your links some and try some other types as well.

    Get over your backlinks and go put your site in front of people in your niche. Backlinks can take you only so far based on how competitive your niche is.
