Problem with RSS feeds can get it to work!

Hello i recently adquired a wp theme for my site, which included the rss feed icon...

the icon redirects to mydomain /feed and then when i press it firefox ask me to bookmark the website...how does it work? is this correct?

Please help me to get this working... my website is a blog...

I wish to promote my posts to many rss directories thats it....

    Normally one you start adding posts then the link should show you the results of the feed which is correct yourdomain/feed

    Even better change this to a Feedburner one to get stats on how your feed is doing.

      But what do i do with this link mydomain/feed this is the one I must summit to the rss directories, i do use feedburner because some seo expert recommend me it wasen good it was better to use a wp plugin to track stats.....

      Thanks for the help, but i dont quite understand how tu use the rss feed... i understand it but not how it works...

        Also with WP, static pages don't show up in the RSS feed.

        If you want them to show up, there is a plugin that you can use that will include static pages in the feed
