Hello people,

I am buidling a lot of backlinks through articles, forum profiles, bookmarks and rss
feeds.

Now I wanted to start building backlinks via blog commenting. I wanted to ask you
how I do it. Do I have to call myself for example lose weight fast or do I give myself
a pen name and then add a anchor text in the body of my comment?

Thanks in advance

When people use a trashy name on my blog their post doesn't get published.

That's exactly what I thought about and that's why I am interested in
finding out how you guys do it? Do you incorporate the anchor text in the
    body of your comment?

I've found the most success by using names such as "cheap viagra" and "rolex watches"... wait, nevermind, that is how to not get your comments approved.

Be creative, use your brain... experiment some. This isn't rocket science.

If it's a moderated blog and if you're name / anchor text is spammy then you'll find your site on the akismet list pretty quick. If you leave some real comments and use a real name for your anchor text you might might make it past the spam gates.

If it's an unmoderated blog... go nuts... "click here for naked girls" is always a fun option.

Some sites have 'keyword luv' which lets you post your name and add your keywords into a form. However, you're most likely to find these only on IM blogs.

The way I do it to help get approved is to have "My Pen Name - My Keywords" as my name. It doesn't sound as spammy as "My Keywords" alone. And personally I don't like to post my anchor text links within the comment itself as I just think that looks spammy too.

Try a few different methods and see what works for you. Above all, READ what you're commenting on and leave a meaningful comment. This will really help avoid the spam issues.

Yeah I always leave good comments on a blog.

I know that it isn't rocket science but still, there are different methods you can
use and I wanted to know how you guys do it. Thanks for all the responses but
it seems to me now that blog commenting isn't worth it. I am having great
results without it and I think I continue that way.
