cant get indexed

I am trying to get three of my inner WP blog pages indexed for specific keywords. In about 5 days i managed to get about 400 backlinks to each of them using profiles and blog comments (scrapebox), but google has still not indexed the pages according to market samurai page ranker function. The blog has been up for at least 2 months now. I only have about 10 posts.

I tried:
pinging each page with pingler and ping-o-matic
creating and indenti.ca account for each, joining numerous groups, then putting the my URL in into an indenti.ca post
submitted to several blog directories

with the amounts of links i should be over 1,000 pretty quick which i think would rank me for my KWs, but if i am not indexed a billion links isn't going to do me any good.

Is your main URL indexed? Or did you maybe forget to change the settings to allow search engines to index it?

      ya, double checked that.
I just checked SEO quake and it shows me that i have 9 pages indexed on my blog. this seems to tell me that the URLs are indexed. what is best way to confirm they are indexed? i googled the URL and it showed up. does that confirm it?

Yes, the best way to know if a particular link is indexed is to just cut and paste the full url into the google search box and see if it shows up. If it does then it is indexed.

Yeah, people sometime leave the privacy settings in the wordpress admin tabs set to - block search engines. Make sure your privacy settings allow search engines.

    There are 2 possiblities,

    1. In the wordpress admin dashboard the privacy settings is set to block search engines by default.
You need to enable it by clicking the radio button next to 'I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Bing, Technorati) and archivers'

    2. The domain you registered may have been banned by google. The previous owner may have used it for spamming.

    Hope this helps,

      Hello,

Type in Google for submit URL" then submit URL there. Your URL will get index very soon. This is the best short cut which i use.

      I hope this helps!

Great advice here. And yes, absolutely check your privacy settings.

And then, get some QUALITY links going -- for example a couple of Ezinearticles with anchor links etc. if you haven't already. and/or a Squidoo lens or two.

And then drive a bit of traffic to those articles with Twitter etc. That'll fix it in a hurry.

Unless it's banned. But even if it is, you can probably get Google to fix it once you point out to them that you're a new owner of that website. Look for info on how to get re-indexed on Google to find out more about that.

  • Deep linking helps your inner pages get index. Create links that links back to those pages you want to get listed in search engines.
