Sandbox duration?

If my site fall on Google Sandbox, do you have any idea how long will my site stay in the sand box? Please help me if you know the answer. Thanks

My new site is in sandbox and i'm really dissapointed. Best to avoid it in the first place by doing things by the book. Don't for example build excessive backlinks.

and as usual the same old BS replies keep coming

look just ask yourself this one simple question:

If you were Google (one of the worlds most recognized brands which is obssesd with giving users information that they seek) and a great new website came along that was getting thousands of links daily and becoming very popular would you

1. Put it in it's relevant place for relevant keywords and show the website to searchers based on its current popularity

2. Not show it to anyone because a lot of people linked to it.

The sandbox is a load of BS invented by people that want to come up with lame excusses as to why their site doesn't rank number one to help themselves feel better.

I experienced the sandbox for some of my new sites which target very small niches. After having done enough backlinking they usually get to Google's page one but disappears after a few weeks. The sandbox is just a term used by someone, not Google's term. What you are experiencing is the natural adjustments of the search engines.My sites continue to this day to drop in rankings, go back up, disappear, go back up again, rank for a few weeks, go down, etc. I think it may take months for any web pages to settle into a position.

I agree with you on this one, rankings are always going up and down, however, as time goes on and your site starts to get alot more relevant links then it will start to settle a little. But you still need to keep working at it if you want to maintain a top spot.

For the most part, if your site is new and you are trying to rank for highly competitive keywords then your going to have to wait awhile, that's just the way it is believe it or not. Now, if your targeting a market that is not that competitive then of course your site is going to rank for it and probably rank pretty fast depending on the links your getting.

The sandbox does exist, but it depends on the market your targeting.

if your website jumps up and down then this is the common google dance or shuffle - the sandbox - or filter system whatever you want to call it - some even call it the probationary period actually effects your keywords.

For many of the high competitive keywords you will experience this. just target long tailed keywords during this time but also work on the highly sought after ones.

Many believe the age of your site will get you out of the filter system - I believe this but also the age of the backlinks have a key role.

ive worked on so many sites - building them from scratch all the way to the top of google - heck my seo site which is only 7 - 8 months old is also on the first page of google - in fact its the youngest site on the top 5 pages -

my site was no where to be seen and then last month popped out.

The google sandbox is a myth - I do however believe they have a filter system for keywords and not the domain - So for high competitive keywords you may not see your site anywhere but then for long tailed keywords you are still able to rank very high. The reason behind this is because the long tailed keywords do not have a filter system -

I would suggest you have a read of an article that I wrote on my blog - please note that I am not promoting my blog - I have no need to - instead I would like you to take a read and have a look at the so called sandbox theory from another perspective. These are my own findings and im sure you will see they make sense -

Again please note these are only my findings - if you do not agree then it doesnt mean that anyone of us are wrong - some areas are very unclear and we can only try to understand what is going on.

  While I think you have a grasp of the general idea behind the so called "Sandbox Effect" I believe it inaccurate to refer to it as a "filter". The term "filter" is improper in my opinion because it is a term used to exclude records from a query.
  
  Clearly, from my experience the so called "Sandbox Effect" which I prefer to call "TrustRank" or "Trust factors" is a weighting factor and not a filter. If your targeted keyword has little competition your web page will still show somewhere in the SERP, it is never "filtered".
  
  In my opinion, words have meaning and "filter" is not accurate in logic nor general vernacular. Internally Google refers to it as a "Signal", while I generally prefer to use the term "factor". There are situations where Google uses filters, for example they frequently filter backlinks that appear to be spam, they filter duplicate content, noindex pages, and PR and anchortext from nofollow backlinks.
  
  The term "filter" has a specific meaning that does not apply to the "sandbox effect".

  filter may not be the best of words to use.
  
  The point that im trying to make is that if you believe you are in the sandbox then its not your actual website - you can still rank for long tailed keywords.
  
  Give it a go - you should start to see some rankings.
  
  so i guess its better to say that your keywords are being sandboxed and not your domain
