Wordpress Problem Robots

When I log into my Google webmasters account I see my sites pages as ''robots.txt unreachable'', this is stopping them from being indexed.
I fear I may have made some sort of mistake while editing the themes coding.
Is there anything I can do? Apart from dumping the site and starting again.
