Hey guys

Been doing this for 2 months and got 6 sites up in the last two weeks so everything is going good but I have a question.

I set up micro niche blogs and when I do my keyword research I go with Exact Phrase count of under 50k, green light from MNF and ALLintitle of under 1500 in google.

But one thing that has been anoyying my is the allintitle, its almost impossible finding nice keywords with allintitle under 1500, alot of times they are 20k and higher. Do you guys use allintitle at all, is it that important?

I use it because I am following steven resells simple bloggins systems and he recommends having keywords with under 1500 in allintitle!

What do you guys think?

  • Think about what you are saying.

You are relying on some piece of software to tell you what to do. That's a bad idea.

Competition is not determined by the number of anything and a "green light".

Competition is determined by who is actively trying to rank for specific phrases.

Allintitle is a good indicator as the phrase is specific to a very important tag - the title.
    Allinanchor is another important indicator.

And the source of the data is the most important factor. Google has the search volume so their data matters.

Now when you have the above you can dig in and see who is already ranking. How old is their site? How many links do they have? Are they a legitimate business with a phone number and an address? Do they have trust?

Who is in the top 3 spots.

Then you can decide if you think you can compete for that phrase.

Your research tool must let you look at data based on exact and/or phrase searches in order to better correlate conversions.
