OK,

I opened my email this am and find out Google has deactivated my adsense account.

What gives? I appealed it. Has anyone else been through this?

Go to gmail and verify your account with a phone number

Happened to a friend recently. After he verified his gmail
    account adsense was reinstated.

Weird google bug I guess ..

Did you not receive any sort of email communication from Google which gives any indication at all as to the reason your account has been disabled?

    You probably should have done.

Either way, Google is very vague about the reasons as to why they close accounts ("you're account poses a risk to our advertisers" - or words to that effect - is the most common reason they cite). Typically you will have 3 choices.

    1) Go through their appeals process. This has a low success rate (or so I've been led to believe).

    2) Roll with it, find another means to monetise your website(s), and don't use AdSense anymore.

    3) Set up a company and business bank account, and sign up again under that name. If you get a new account however, you probably won't want to use it to add AdSense back to the same sites you were using it on before, or else this will quickly be flagged by Google and probably result in your new account being banned, also.

Google wants money, and in my mind they seldom (if ever) close accounts without good reason (i.e: it's breaking one of their policies). Typically, if they've just reviewed and judged your sites to be junk, they'll deindex them whilst keeping your AdSense account live so that you're able to monetize other (better) sites instead.

      For the rest of you...
Follow ALL guidelines. Don't come to forums asking, "Is this legal..." when you
know darn well it probably is isn't or is borderline. Borderline is a reason.
If you have not read all TOS, guidelines, cautions, etc. from google,
      get thee hence.

There are many, many, many terms of service and program policies that
many don't know about. What might seem mundane and a non-issue, is
      a red flag to google.

Just because you see someone get away with it for years, or say it's
okay here, or whatever, err on the side of caution.

Having said that, I certainly would use and and all appeals processes, but
don't expect miracles. It sucks and warriors always wish the best. I hope
you get stuff straightened or at least get over this.

the thing is that you got to find out why adsense deactivated your account , otherwise you'll get your new accounts deactivated as well
