Combining Adwords and Adsense together.

I thought of an idea and I would like to know if it's bogus.

Is it possible to pay for adwords traffic and put adsense ads on your landing page?

Is this allowed?

I only ask because I am thinking about doing it because it sounds to me like a good idea. You pay for the traffic that is going to pay you.

Of course I would also try putting affiliate ads up or try to sell a product, but should PPC (adwords) ads be out of the picture?

Basically what I want to know is, is using Adwords and Adsense together a good idea or bad idea?

Thanks in advance for your replies

That's an old arbitrage tactic that used to work great. Google doesn't like it as a money making strategy (not that Adsense pasy all that well anyway compared to others.)

But yeah, if you're selling stuff or promoting or otherwise got a legitimate reason to send PPC traffic other than getting Adsense revenue then go for it.

So, what your saying is, I shouldn't really bother putting Adsense Ads on my Landing Page right?

Thanks for making things clearer for me

It was done previously, but I'm not sure if Google still allows you to do this.

However, I don't think it will be profitable either.

Google no longer allows it. For the last couple of years they've been shutting accounts down for doing it.

This video is talking about exactly what I am talking about.

It's true, Google will put users first and this tactic is going to disappear.
