Can you still do review sites on Adwords?

I've got a review site in the health niche and I want to try and test it in Adwords for the particular products. Now, I know Google has really cracked down and "slapped" these kinds of sites.
Have they done this to all of them, or can I still do it as long as I have extensive reviews and other articles on content on the site/blog, along with the privacy policy, contact, and all that stuff?
Thoughts?
