Hello warriors,
I'm about to post my first article to ezinearticles and I'm aiming for my word count to be around 1500 words.
So what I need to now is;

1. Is this a high enough word count for my article to be taken seriously?
2. What is the percentage of links that I would be allowed to implement into the article if the word count is 1500?

Many Thanks.

    Well three things...

    1. Get to know the guidelines yourself: Editorial Guidelines For Submitting Quality Articles To EzineArticles.com (4 links max including the resource box links)

    2. The article can just be the minimal length to be approved. All of my articles are the minimum250 word count length and I was given Expert Author designation. NOTE: This is just for future refernce. I am not saying that you need to shorten your article.

    3. The links in articles are now NOFOLLOW so I wouldn't be concerned about those from an SEO perspective. The link in the resource box does not have the NOFOLLOW tag.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, you've saved me time already - I didn't realise that the links would be 'nofollow'. Do you think that if I were to shorten my articles (without compromising quality) to around 400 words that this would still be ok?

Are there any article sites out there that have a 'dofollow' policy on the body text?

I suggest that you create around 500 words because its far more preferable by ezinearticles and also readers like me who does not want to read a novel type of article, too long articles are really boring to read in my own opinion.

I'll take your advice and shorten my articles. That way I can get 2 articles out of 1 and do it like 'part 1' and 'part 2'.

Can I submit the same article to lots of different article submission websites, or would that be damaging?

      Thanks everyone

Also make sure your percentage of keywords is not more then 1.5-2.0%, they won't accept your article.

If you have a 1500-word article, split it into a 6-part series of 250-word articles.

Your objective (if you're doing article marketing) is to get the readers to click-through to your website from the resource box. If your articles are too long, the reader might get bored before getting to your link.

So it's better to submit interesting, short articles that people can read in a few minutes.
