Site was #3 for it's keywords then dropped off the serps

Was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else besides myself. My site was working it's way up through the serps and was recently holding down the #3 spot in Google and now it's no where to be found.

Would this just be part of the dance or should I worry?

Could be the google dance and just bobbing up and down. If this is true only time will tell what your true position is going to me.

We have been told that google likes consistency so if you have started building backlinks from nothing this could trigger the google dance...

If you have built backlinks for weeks to get you in the #3 spot and stopped building backlinks once you are there... this could have also triggered the dance.

Once you have a money site ranked in the first page of google and bringing in good cash. Use some of that money and hire a full time link builder for your business. You can outsource to the Philippians for dirt cheap and simple create videos of exactly how you build your links for them to follow.

Keep us posted on if it comes back.

I would keep building your links and wait 3-4 weeks and you should see it come back.

if you been building links and suddenly stop it wont look natural.. and may affect your ranking, so just keep doing what your doing..

Do a search for your site like

      site: www.mysite.com

or take an entire sentence from your homepage and copy that into the google search bar.

If your site is not found then, wait a bit if it takes longer than a few days look for reasons why your site is kicked off.

Probably you are in the google dance, this is mainly due to linkbuilding. The answer to this is just continue building high quality links from relevant sites. And add good and relevant content...

I have been there as many other warriors, it sucks but you can learn a lot from it! DOnt worry too much that is the main advise
