Hi.

Was checking out the backlinks to my site on SEO SpyGlass. Noticed that links within my site are nofollow.

To change it do I need to add an attribute to the hyperlink?

(The site is static HTML pages).

Thanks.

Jim.

Huh? Why do you think they are no follow? Are you using a CMS system to create the pages? If so it may be an option you can turn on or off. If you are using something like Dreamweaver then you have to insert code to make it no follow, otherwise the links will be do follow.

On Seo Spyglass it does not list all links except 2 and they are listed as nofollow.

I am assuming this means its all nofollow. Its not running on Wordpress or the like, just typing the code with Notepad.

Is there a website to check this out for the rest of the pages?

      Thanks.

This is a bit confusing. You say you hand code your pages but dont know if you include the rel=nofollow attribute in links??

In the <a href> tag rel=nofollow is not included. A few of the pages listed on SEO SpyGlass are showing to be nofollow.
Just wondering if something needs to be changed in the server or anywhere else.

In seo there are two types of link dofollow and nofollow links. Dofollow links have very importance in seo. In nofollow links Google do not follow the links and do not give any value to that link, so that link is useless.

Try to use SEO Quake to check if it really no follow. I suspect it is do follow.
