Optimising Content For SEO

Hi.

If I am trying to rank for 'Gucci Handbag', is it best the title just and the heading (through H1) just says 'Gucci Handbag' or should I add other related keyword to it?
It does have some stiff competetion with over 500,000 pages and I am figuring its not not going to be straight forward getting to page 1.

    Hi Jim, yes you want to mix up you key words with 'Gucci Handbag' make sure to put other keywords in with 'Gucci Handbag' See you at the top.

    In terms of SEO, the more exact match the better, in all these places:

    1. Title
    2. H1, H2
    3. Bold Content
    4. Domain name
    5. URL

    However, just doing on page stuff won't help you rank this keyword - too much competition!

    You need a lot of patient and backlinks, usually I would ask people who want serious traffic and money - go for long tail keywords!

    Being brave is the first mistake of all newbie... Use 4 words and above long tail keywords, these keywords would easily rank and get traffic!

      Start with a Longer Tailed search term which includes your main term. Then you can build up traffic from these whilst working your way towards the big prize.

      6. Also make sure to put it no more than twice in the Description

      Also, like Kok Choon says, you need to try a longtail keyword, getting to #1 in the SERP's is going to be really tough otherwise
