how to get high pagerank to a redirected domain?

Hi.

This is maybe a dump question but I have to ask.

Is there any SEO experts in here who can explain to me how I can get a redirected domain to be indexed in the SERP and also how to make sure that the domain will rank high in the SERP for the domain name itself (long tail keyword)?

The domain will be redirected to an affiliate program and the domain in itself will not have any content due to the fact that it is redirected directly from the domain provider and do not have its own hosting.

This domain is new and have no pagerank carried with it from the past as with and old domain.

    A webpage gets pagerank, not domains.

    The fact that you are using a domain forwarder probably will not help.
    I can't remember how those work, but they are not the same as 301
    redirect, I'm almost positive.

    I think you are going to have to pay for hosting and then do a 301 redirect.

    It's a technical thing, but I don't think a server domain forwarder has the
    same SEO viability that a 301 redirect does.

    Besides, hosting is cheap and there are a lot of perks built in.

    If someone here says a server domain forwarder is fine, I can't argue.

    But a server redirect to me would mean there never was and never will be a site
    with that domain. I can't see how google would ever pick it up, backlinking
    or not.

    Remember, I'm not talking about type-in traffic.

      its exactly the same thing, the domain forwarder does nothing else than creating a .htaccess with a 301 to the other domain. (At least in my case)

    I have the same question!

    Note that the OP is not asking about PR, he is asking about SERPs and wants the domains simply being indexed for the KW. PR really doesnt matter.

    I also have 3 or so domains simply redirecting via domain redirect to my money site and i do NOT want make site copies of the money site on the other domains (if i dont have to, really).

    But i want the redirect domains being indexed for the keyword.

    Say:

    Main site:

    widgets.com

    redirect sites:

    widgets.org and widgets.info

    How can the .org and the .info appear in SERPs in addition to the .com? I need to do something with those domains because they have a really good keyword in the name, and right now i feel like i wasted those additional domains since they are simple redirecting to the main domain and are not even indexed. Should i simply link sp@m those redirect sites? What can i do?

    Hi! I'm a newbie in SEO. I have bought a new domain name. Would i get page rank for my domain name if i redirect them(creating a 301 redirect htaccess file) to a page with high page rank? Or i would be getting banned by search engine?

    If I am reading the question properly I would recommend that you STOP immediately. If you properly 301 redirect a domain name it will not show up in the search engine and will only forward to the desired pages you tell it to. Any tricks to forward a domain and get it to rank will not be good and could get you penalized / would be considered more of a black hat method.

    I think the only viable solution for you if you are wanting to take advantage of the name and get it to rank would be to build at least a mini website and then highlight the product and link to the affiliate program.

    If you do any forwarding be sure that it is 301 redirect.

    301 is supposed to pass link juice and authority not PR, as my understanding. You have to wait for the next PR update to see its PR change, if it's happening
