If you don't mind, dear Warriors, bump this thread up with some fresh ideas where you would go to sell the site with established traffic from search engines - to get a good price for it.

I know that domain auctions can be a good place to start with.

But are the auctions the only place to go?

You could also look for a site broker - somebody who will help you sell your website for small commission. You can usually get a much larger price this way.

Flippa is one of the best places to sell an established site. However, you'll get the most from private deals. The trick to scoring private deals is finding the buyer and that's why working with a broker can help. Most people don't know who's looking for a site in a particular niche or meets certain criteria and that's why a broker is usually a good idea. They work with interested buyers all the time and know what they're looking for.

However, if you're talking about a site that's has no PR and and get's like 1000 visitors a month I would stick to an auction. But if you have a site getting 250,000+ visitors each month then you definitely want to go the Broker route. Good luck.
