Syndicated Content Killing Me?

I have a heap of clickbump/xfactor/grinder type microniche sites, tight keyword targeted sites, mostly product based. And for each of them I have stuck pretty close to the formula. Gaining traffic and clicks everyday, but not riding happy home to the bank.

The one thing that I have done different to the formula has been to add keyword targeted You tube vids and yahoo Answer posts (neil harvey plugin). This brings new (syndicated) content, and actually gets me new visitors as they find the ultra long searched keywords associated with the main keyword which is in the topleveldomain.

I see the positives. I was just wondering if there is there any risk, or any negatives to this strategy. Risk being the main pages are unique keyword focussed content, while the daily updates are syndicated not-unique content. I was wondering if the great Algorithm in the sky marks my site down on the basis of having too much syndicated content?

Any thoughts?

Probably no replies because all the other clickbump/xfactor/grinder devotees are off implementing what you just showed them.

I don't see how it would hurt, unless the traffic is not targeted enough to convert well. If it doesn't convert well, Google will not give you as good of ads. (as high paying)

Why not test your method by creating some sites with only original content? I would question whether videos would add or detract from such a site. Do you want people to watch a video - or click an ad? It may be a distraction but until you test it, you don't know.

You don't say how old the sites are - or what you've been doing to promote them. Those are important parts of the equation.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
