3 out of 5 niche sites in First Page... Let me share :)

Most of you guys know me as a Content Provider who provides quality articles with a good turn around time. But, I'm a budding IMer too!!!

Earlier I had posted a thread where I had mentioned how I made quite a bit of money. Now, I am back to share with you some good news.

I started 5 niche sites on March 17, 2010 and today as I write this 3 of them are in the First Page.

As the trend goes, I thought of writing an Ebook and sell it as a WSO.

Well, I would have done that and I would have really hated myself for that too because my ideas are almost the same as many of the methods being sold out there and given away free in Warrior Forum.

My writing business flourished after I came to this forum.
My designing business flourished after I came to this forum.
My PLR business flourished after I came to this forum.

It is only fair that... I share!

So, Warriors... Here's what I did:

Disclaimer: I don't have a clue if it will work for you, but all I can say is... It worked for me. If you have heard this all before then I'm sorry to have wasted your time, but I suspect that you heard it but never did nothing about it.

Here it is:

4 keywords.

Yes, I got one main keyword and 3 long tailed keywords.

Ex: (these are examples, not real keywords...)

Diet fasting (Main KW)
Fasting diet methods
Tips for easy fasting
Lose weight fasting diet

I got a domain name with the main keyword assimilated in it.

Ex: Welcome to DIETFASTING.COM

I booked the domain through Browser Update Page and used their hosting service too. It cost me $10.

I used Wordpress to build the site... Even if you are newbie you can easily learn how to setup a Wordpress site.. there are millions of free tutorials and if you bother to read it for 45 minutes, you can set up the site within 3 hours. I am sure many of you can make better time.

Next for images, I went to copyright-free image sites like morgueFile free photos for creatives by creatives.

I wrote exactly 10 articles of 500 words each.

Took me 5 hours. I do this for a living you see!

I used the main keyword in all the articles twice. And used one of the secondary keywords in all the articles at least once in every article.

I put in the articles with relevant images in the site.

Next, I rewrote all the 10 articles, but let the keyword spread remain the same.

I waited two days.

Then, attacked two directories (Yes, only two!)

Ezine and Go Articles.

5 articles in Ezine and 5 in Go Articles. These articles had resource boxes that linked back to my site.

Gave it two days more.

Then, did the Link Wheel.. maybe I created the smallest link wheel in the world!

Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogger and Ezine.

I wrote 5 unique articles again and rewrote them twice.

Originals I posted in Squidoo, First draft rewrite in Hubpages, Second draft rewrite in Blogger.

There were articles already in Ezine.


I connected them all:

Ezine.
Squidoo.
Hubpages.
Blogger.
My niche site.

My total investment:

$50 for the domain and hosting.

I didn't pay for the articles as I write it myself.

For one of the sites, I took some good PLR content and rewrote that too. It works!

Time to reach First Page: 20 days.

This may be a seriously amateur method ... but this one's not a fluke, I can tell you that. If 3 out of 5 are in the first page.. there has to be a reason.

In case, you are wondering where are the 4th and 5th ranked... they are inching closer... and I am excited.

I am sorry if I had written it randomly... and missed out a few things... but this is exactly what I did... and for the life of me I can't remember anything else I did..
