Google shut down my Adsense account

Of course no explanation, just a vague mention of 'not allowed activity'.. I have appealed it but I doubt anything positive will happen. Of course this happened right after hitting page 1 and starting to finally see some results...
Bas****ds..
I do have Adbrite and Bidvertiser on some sites so it will not big deal to at least 'fill up' the blank ad spaces, however the problem is that BidVertiser shows a fair amount of crappy unrelated ads, and the payouts on Adbrite are pathetic.
I had submitted my sites to Clicksor and Chitika ages ago and never even got a reply, and it seems that YPN is perpetually 'about to be launched'..
So does anybody ahve any suggestions for an ad network that would pay decent amounts, and not display naked women on a site about space exploration???

Thanks

Marco

Nothing that I know of, really. I think they are claiming, based on the emial received, something like 'incentivized clicks' , which is totally NOT the case.

That's really strange, Adsense warn me couple of times to remove ads from certain blogs but they didn't shut down my account.
        I'm really sorry.

According with what you are saying on here probably there's 2 possibilities why they slapped you:

        1. Clicks coming from same IP address in numerous occasions!

        2. You were dealing with websites that are against Google T.O.S such as
online gambling , sexual related, etc

That might be the case bud!

Go join bings or yahoos if they got them or any other company which offers the same as adsense, there are loads out there. It sucks that google dropped you but, don't let that be the end when are so many other alternatives.

If the ads were getting good click through rates, consider just placing affiliate text links that looked like the adsense.

This will let you continue making money on those pages that you are getting good traffic from.

There are ways (complicated) to get another Adsense account. But you are done for the very moment you put up the codes on the same sites.

I don't think anything else comes close to Adsense. I would restructure your business to rely more on affiliate marketing and/or CPA.

For example, when I was banned by Adsense in April 2009, I was making around $300 a month in Adsense and $300 a month in affiliate marketing. Now I am making over $2000 a month in affiliate marketing. More importantly, it also seems to be helping my main IM business as well. Threrefore, I am not interested in having an Adsense account again.

Nothing against you, but 99% of the time someone uses that word in that context, there really is something behind it.

Well thank you very much for your help: I am in that other 1%, believe it or not. Plus, really, I was not looking for people trying to play jury, I was simply asking for Adsense alternatives. My main sites are dating sites that are making me nice money, however Adsense was also generating a nice income, and 'REALLY' I was EXTREMELY careful with the sites I had Adsense on, no gambling (I use affiliate links on gamblilng related sites), no adult (various adult programs there), so , again, I am REALLY just looking for mainstream Adsense alternatives, thanks!

Thank you but, how would that prevent Google from closing down an account anyway?
And please as per original post, I would appreciate suggestions about Adsense alternatives!

Having several accounts under different corporations won't keep Google from closing one account. But in that case it is only one of several and not the one and only. You would lose some income, but not all AdSense income.

        Peace

Just FYI, I did have an account under a corporation, and I just got an email from Google, that it was closed as well!

and , again, the email mentions that this account could pose a risk as it is generating 'not valid activity' (or something like that, the original email is in Italian..) , so , Adsense alternatives , please?

Its not good news when people do get that dreaded email from the Big G but in theoty you can appeal but the chance of getting that account back is nearly zero,i dont tend to have all my eggs in one basket i have adbrite and clicksor and as a last resort bidvertiser.Google will never give you a reason why the excuse they give is some what vague.

I think you have maybe 2 options either re-apply with totally differant details or go for some other form of advertising like clicksor.Good luck with it

What are you guys doing to build links to your sites? Also - is the content of your sites in any way questionable? There has to be some common thread here.

As far as alternatives - I'd look into setting up stuff in Commision Junction or doing CPA ads.
