Hello everyone, I just started a new website and wrote+submitted a few articles to get my site indexed fast by google, and it worked (indexed within a couple of hours), however today I see that my site is de-indexed by google.

Is this normal? Do you think I will be re-indexed?

It is a little unusual but it happens sometimes. Just continue to do backlink building like you were doing and your new site should get indexed soon.

De-indexing is pretty rare but it does happen.
Indexing fast is also rare, I usually have to wait 1-2 weeks for a site to get indexed.. sometimes it's a little faster, but it's usually a decent wait.

    Hopes this helps

      Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I submitted a couple of articles to a few high-PR article directories that get instantly approved and instantly indexed by google. Maybe once google saw that those where my only backlinks it de-indexed me. Not sure.

In regards to "indexing" a website, this couldn't be further from the truth.

The longest I've ever waited for a website to be indexed was 1 week, and the shortest time was under 27 minutes (...yes I timed it).

I don't think this is too unusual, I see it happen on occasion with some of my websites. Often with a brand new website, it will be indexed the first day when I post links to it from a blog or article site, but then not show up the next day (even with a site: search), and then show up again a day or two later. I wouldn't worry (yet).

Don't worry, it's completely normal for new site to get indeed for a day or two and then deindexed.

It could come back in a couple of days or a week or two but it will come back.

I build a ton of sites and this happens more often than not.

I completely agree with cashcow here. It is normal for new sites to get de-indexed after getting index.

Its better that you concentrate more towards building some good backlinks from high PR and relevant sources for better results in future.

    Hey Jaked,

Don't worry and that's pretty normal. Try to get some social bookmarking done for a new website. I would recommend you a software from Incansoft call SocialBot.

After you have submitted your website to SocialBot, you can start building some intense backlinking campaign to get your website rank faster in the search engine.

    Hope this helps.
