Which has better CTR? Root domain or pages?

Most of my efforts have been SEO'ing the root domain and it has worked well but I'm always looking to improve.

So I've never tested this out but maybe someone has or noticed a difference in traffic?

So assuming you're in the top 3 which gets better CTR? Root domain or pages or the same (depending on description)

Thanks

Michael

Your last option. Same (depending on description). I make sure every page is optimized to the best of my ability.

from my personal experiences, it really doesn't matter... the title is what sticks out most and what the visitor reads first, so long as it is relevant and is exactly what they want... the clicks will keep on coming
