I've got £300 to spend on PPC. I wont jump head first until I know the water. I know PPC and have done similar with the Facebook ad platform.

My plan is to set up a product page, offer an honest review without selling to the reader and offer a link for purchase on the page. That's a brief overview without getting into it to much.

If dont correctly could I double my funds? Is £300 enough to play about with?

Some would say yes. Most would say no.

There are simply too many variables to consider (e.g. offer/product, landing page, sales page, ad, keywords, source of traffic, your experience level etc. etc. etc.).

    Good luck,

    Makes sense.

My experience in marketing is good. I do a lot of SEO and when creating product pages I target keywords that a user would be looking for if they where to buy. All of my SEO efforts are geared towards micro niches.

I think I would do the same as I would with my SEO/Organic traffic projects. The only difference being I am paying for users to see my site rather than waiting for Google to index and rank my page high.

Much easier to lose it than double it, particularly if you're first starting out.

My advice would be to set up your review, product page, etc., then spend some time optimizing it first. You could drive traffic with articles, etc.

You could easily spend your whole budget just getting your conversions optimized, then have little to scale up with.

You can at the very minimum triple that in PPC. However, if you have never done it before, don't do it now. You can lose the 300 in as little as 5 minutes and not get one cent back.

You could try calling local businesses and sell them leads. Most business owners are not savy with lead gen. If they try and do it themselves they get into trouble a lot of time. Setting a fixed cost for lead then using adwords to get cheap leads and make a profit works, but it involves making some calls and introducing yourself.

I started selling medical equipment with a $30 a day AdWords budget. Within a week I was spending $300 a day. I was profitable from day one. You may not have as good as a product as I did. Your ads might be aweful too. There are a lot of factors, so nobody can really answer your questions. The best answer would be, "it depends".
