Got this site that I've been working on the last 6 months, currently it sits in pos 7-9 on the first page for the keyword I want, even though it makes me about 200$/month. Yesterday I visited google webmaster tools and saw that they had a changed alot there, and I can now see approx. how many searches each day and how many visits my site. The last month I've gotten 1% of all traffic for my main keyword.. If I end up making this site rank #1 I should be getting like 40-50% of it.. if the ctr stays the same that'll be at least 8000$ a month.. mmm. nice to dream

    It's both frustrating and exciting to have a site on the cusp of finally reaching it's full potential.

    Good luck, sounds like you have a real money maker on your hands.

    Just don't get stupid or desperate trying to give it that final push.

    I've actually began thinking about making this a bit more pro than the average xfactor site the problem now is that I need maybe like 10-20 quality pr4+ links to beat #1, but that's a bit harder to fix than making profile links

      Since you already make money, why not invest a small portion of it to get these 4+ pr links and reap the reward of getting way more traffic?

    Great that you're so close. I have a similar situation. A site that ranks 4-5 on my top KW. I've been experimenting with a technique called "link wheels" that I learned from the a great little IM program I'm a member of. It's working pretty well as I now sit 1-2 on that KW. It did require some patience, though.

    Stay with it and you'll get there.
