Does a facebook page generate much blog traffic ?

Of course a facebook page could only add some blog traffic but I wondering does it really add much.

I'm thinking, it does not help much because the facebook users are focused on catching up on facebook stuff and not reading a blog.

    Maybe not much but anything extra is always helpful. If you have a huge network of friends, it could mean lot as well.

    I'm looking for a possible facebook campaign, but could be later, esp. after getting a substantial number of relevant backlinks from other sites.
