Making money with NICHE SITES USING ADSENSE, NON BUYER KEYWORDS

I'm interested in some advice or feedback on this idea of mine.

I was looking around for products I can promote for a certain niche. Come to find out there were none. Not even through amazon or ebay.

But then I realized maybe that's a good thing.

WHERE'S THE MOST COMPETITION FOR SPOTS IN THE SEARCH ENGINES?
Answer-
Targeted buyer keywords. Every affiliate out there is looking for new buyer keywords they may rank for.

First somebody looks for an idea...making money online

Then they find some stuff about seo, so they look for "best seo product"

Then they'll look for that "product review" possibly.

This is just an example of a potential scenario. But my point is if you can find a long tail keyword, that's not a buying keyword with low competition, doesn't this mean that the user is just looking for more information and not to buy?

If this is true then the conversion rate for adsense clickthroughs would be through the roof because all they want is information, not to buy?

How do you guys feel about this idea? I'm a newbie with some unsuccessful sites.

I'M TERRIBLE AT WRITING SALES COPY AND PRE SELLING so I think that for now this might be my best route. Until I can afford to outsource my writing.

One of the reasons I'm posting this thread is because today I got accepted into google adsense, loaded it onto my websites and got my first click already...31 cents which is more than I made today and I think it may very well increase greatly since I started this late in the day.

If I can get 3 clicks a day through adsense consistently with a simple blog, that's 1 dollar.
Which means 100 sites using this strategy if it works, would make a consistent $100 per day.

If I make $100 per day at my regular full time job, I could spend the $10 on one domain per day, and create $100 per day automated profit in 1/3 of a year. Which means at an extremely low pace and low click numbers, by the end of 1 year I'd be making $300 automated every day and have made enough money to quit my job, and replicate this system.

Is this an effective strategy I can implement with a couple of niche sites?

Yeah, I believe keywords as such will convert well with adsense. However, you may be wasting your time if the keyword(s) you are trying to rank for are too competitive.

You need to learn how to analysis the real strenght ( not just using "" ) of your competition.

Correct, however at the moment I can rank well for "" terms.
I'm trying to avoid buying keywords for a while since I can't sell crap.

    hi friend,
that's what i'm doing now. I just build hundreds of websites each with different keywords with lower competition. haven't reached $1 a day in adsense with each site yet though. I just started in mid Jan.

The only part of the equation you left out is building backlinks. You can't expect to create a site and it to have it hit the first page of google from the get go. You have to invest time/money into backlinks.

Of course I build backlinks. The reason I never mention it is because I figure it's common sense...Everybody knows that backlinks help. And like I said I rank well for terms, as I use backlinks.

  • If there isn´t anything to buy than there are no advertisers and you get very cheap broad match ads/clicks. The ones people pay 1 cent per click. And these ads will not be the answer to the questions of your visitors. So your CTR will not be very high. Look for easy buyers keywords.

Well for example one of my websites is in a building materials niche. It's average pay per click is .65.

I look for items that are more for "drop shipping" style publishers. Things that just typically aren't in the typical ad networks like clickbank and commission junction.

I like your idea friend but keep in mind I am fairly new too, so your better off running this buy some guru's, but my gut feel is why not? I like out of the box ideas that work.

I do have a quick question too. What is the best tool for long tail keywords? I have looked at several and the investment is around $100.. but if it will help me convert sales and adsense then I am sure it will pay for itself.

I just want to make sure I am getting the best out there. Any suggestions?

Well unless you are targeting some buyer keywords as well you are probably going to run into trouble. The problem with this idea is that you are going to be sending traffic that isn't interested in buying to people who are paying for advertisements. If your site doesn't convert well for advertisers you will end up getting smart priced...which will result in a much lower per click average and can eventually lead to some more trouble with your Adsense account.

If you are going to run adsense, you need to think about how you can help the people who are paying you...the advertisers. And sending them traffic that isn't interested in buying isn't going to make them happy.
