I read through the published fatcat method and a relatively simillar method on another forum, fatcat sites run to about 6 pages or so and the other 20 pages but with far more extensive keyword research. Both methods have quality human written content.
Fatcat promotes the site via articles, (I thought that articles had fallen out of favour) + the other by a range of backlinking techniques both get significant promotion.

Ok if I were to put up an adsense site following this overall idea based on decent keyword research, with quality content and support it with a backlinking campaign would/should it make decent money out of adsense?

I suppose that when you cut to the chase I'm asking if decent money can be made from ad-sense.
I've seen figures ranging from $2 in 3 months to $50000 a month (fatcat running on multiple sites) so whats the real deal?

Would an affiliate site return more $ for the same amount of work/investment?

Many Thanks aamcle

Im familiar with the method. You can make $1, $2, $3 or more / day from each of your 6-page adsense sites. If you want to turn it into 5 figure quickly you will need to sell your adsense sites and invest in new ones. Its possible to make 50k/m but it would require few years of work and some heavy outsourcing.

It's hard to say if adsense is better than affiliate. For sure building adsense sites is much easier as it doesnt require much marketing, just good keyword research. In affiliate world you will need to have some bigger skillsets, like how to pre-sell and convert an offer, copywriting. What's great about adsense is that you can scale it to a very large numbers and it can bring you income for years to come on a complete autopilot.

Thanks for the reply, I was afraid that it was going to be just a few $ per site.

Few dollars per site is not bad, as you will see your ROI will be at least 500% in most sites if you outsource. If you will do it on your own, you can cash $20-$30 per hour.
