Trying to figure out a way to get my backlinks indexed. I grabbed a report the other day that uses ping.fm hooked to several other sites ... but it looks like they're onto the abuse by spammers and reworking their site. Gotta contact their "service team" to get it all set up now.

Also been trying to work out that Icerocket site... can the search engines actually read my rss feed when you have to be logged in? Seems like the RSS feed I set up there won't load up when I copy and paste it into the address bar when I'm not logged in. It sends me to a login page instead of the feeds page I set up. Maybe I'm not quite doing it right or looking at the wrong URL?

Long story short ... what are you all doing to get your links indexed? There's got to be a fairly simple way right?

This is all new to me, so I'm a bit at a loss of how to do this ...

You can add all backlink to rss feed, make new feed with all backlinks.
Also add some other high authority sites to it.

Then you ping it and also import to sidebar on many free blogs like blogger,wordress,etc...

    Check these sites:
    hostmyrss.com and pheed.me

Create an icerocket account then create a new channel then add your urls to items in that channel.

Once publish.. you take the published feed url and submit it to the rss directories ie.. icerocket / feedagg / feedage etc

It's an excellent way to get your links indexed and something I have used for a few years now..

Hey thanks ... that helped me realize I had picked up the wrong URL on IceRocket. It makes total sense now.
