I'm afraid to Start A New PPC Campaign - What Should I do?

Hey Guys,
I have had some success doing ppc to cpa the past few months, but early last week i got the threatening email from Adwords that my account was on the verge of destruction. Apparently, the spiders found my content innapropriate for the ads, and my account was at risk for closing.

Needless to say, I immediately deleted the accounts in question, mainly because I have two very profitable campaigns I don't want to see go down the drain because of a few bad apples.

I want to start new campaigns, but I'm afraid now because of this email. In all honesty I don't even know what I was doing wrong, considering the terms of service can be about as vague as possible.

I want to do the right thing, I'm not a spammer, scammer, or any of that. I provide real content and real reviews for the products I promote.

Any ideas what I should do? I never emailed adwords back, simply because I just wanted to get out of under the microscope.

Thanks for your help

Robert

Simple. Follow their guidelines and you won't have any problems at all.

You have to remember, you're dealing with a robot, not a real person. Google had my profile and my squidoo lens locked down, even threatened to take them both down, kept saying I was into something illegal. Is Network marketing Illegal? And I just kept responding that I wanted a live person to take a look and now everything is back to normal. Google makes mistakes and again it's the robots reporting bogus info back to the main frame, so setup your PPC campaign and they probably won't bother you again.

Never depend on one strategy to support your business. The name of the game is diversification. You can probably get just as much traffic through ezine marketing and solo ads if you target the right group. Google should be a small piece of the pie in my opinion.

Earthclass mail + Virual credit card = unlimited adwords accounts.

I had a competitor last year who was breaking the law with his site (They sold a service where a guy in china would go and take your exams for you so you didn't have to do study yourself. I was selling the training legitimately). They had about 15 sites they would put on the same keywords, I had to contact google every week with a list of their sites to get them to keep banning them.

All my google rep said was there was nothing she could do as they kept on using different credit cards.

If these guys can setup several accounts per week I am sure you would be able to get a second backup account incase anything goes wrong with your main one.

I normally wouldn't suggest something like that but with all the reports of accounts getting banned at the slightest thing, I personally would make sure I had a backup plan if I was treading anywhere close to the line.
