Please help me get number 1 in google

hai warrior members.... i'm new member here... it's nice to see you all..

i really need your help..

i feel very confused about my blog, it's already PR 4 ( i use <prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php> to check the PR) , but it is still number 3 in google. the strange thing is, the number one site in the keyword i target has PR0. What should i do????, should i add more backlinks???, by the way, i don't optimize the on page seo for my blog...

this is my blog, please check: <catssecret-info.blogspot.com/2010/03/why-do-cats-eat-grass.html> (but the domain itself still has no PR since i never optimize it) and the keyword i target is "Why do cats eat grass?",

    I just do a quick check with SEOSpyGlass, it seems like he had more links than yours, and the targeted keyword is a lot more!

    While your site receive higher PR might be due to other factors, like untargeted keyword link or direct link.

    You can do few things:

    1. Optimize your page to your keyword, with keyword on your first paragraph, middle and last paragraph.

    2. Get more links to your page with targeted anchor link.

    That should bring your site to page 1. BTW, you can put an anchor link from your own homepage to that post, especially in the article as context link, that would give it some boost...

    I think you will have to build more In-Anchor Backlinks to your site. That will increase your search engine ranking position for that keyword. Just check the number of backlinks your competitor got(You can check it using SEOQuake plugin) and that will help to beat your competitor.

    Hey if you use seo spyglass you will be able to spy on your competitors backlink. So take the time to look.

    This is the first thing you need to do, As your site PR is high, just place one link there mate, Ofcourse with your anchor text, Which will really help you to go higher.

    And i checked your competitor's blog as well, What i thought is, His content is quality than yours IMO. So here content will also do some magic as you know. .

    Anyway, use anchor text and place your link in your website, which will work for you for sure. . Thanks
