Hello,

I'm wondering if somebody can help me with how to find popular searches something along the lines of:

"most popular" _____ "new york"
"most popular" _____ "los angeles"
"most popular" _____ "miami"
"most popular" _____ "boston"

I'm trying to determine what the most popular searches are for this blank space. for instance "most popular" _____ "new york" might reveal:

"most popular hotels new york"
"most popular bars new york"
"most popular parks new york"
"most popular stores new york"

Obviously I could change "most popular" to any other phrase.

Thanks!

If you do a simple search with the "most popular" + "new york" you are going to come up with tourists attractions usually (for any given locale) - how is this different than what you want? If you want to do it for most popular searches in a given locale then I'd try experimenting with google insights for search. I am sorry if it doesn't answer your question, I probably just am not understanding the question properly.

    Thanks Dave,

Well obviously I could change "most popular" to many different phrases. But this in itself is pretty useful.

Anyway based on what you said I could automatically work out the monthly search volume for these phrases?

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to find a place where I can get the number of searches that meet this request the most. I use Market Samurai and when I put in a phrase i.e. 'most popular hotels in new york' it will return the number of searches a month.

It would be great to be able to put into Market Samurai 'most popular * new york' and basically show which variations get the highest searches.
