Adsense Ads Next to Amazon Widgets? TOS?

I don't know why, but I can't find the answer anywhere. I'm putting those amazon flash widget ads on my adsense sites, and trying to find the layout that looks the best.

Are there any rules to where you can/can't place amazon widgets next to, or right above/below adsense ads? Or is everything game?

Nobody here works for google, but...
    amazon and adsense are compatible.

In fact, if you have a blogger blog, and you are an
amazon associate, you can auto-plug your amazon
id in and generate ads on your blog, along with adsense.

The only way it would be not allowed, is if the ads looked
exactly like adsense. But I have seen no amazon ads that
    look like adsense.

You need to ask yourself if its worth having Amazon ads at all. The commission is very low and I found it was better to have 1 option (Adsense) instead of wasting clicks on my Amazon ads.

Of course you will need to do some testing.

You need to work out how much you get paid on average with your Adsense clicks and how much you make a month with Amazon.

If Amazon is pretty much even or less than Adsense get rid of it. You see by removing the Amazon ads, part of that traffic will click your Adsense ads instead.

    See how you go.

Ditching amazon and doing only adsense makes a lot of sense
      to me too.

But I do use amazon in a unique way. I use it for images and
link those images to the amazon product. It's a great way
      to spice up your website.

You are correct. I make about $30 a year from amazon!
