I'm interested in finding out:

How many backlinks do you normally make per day?
(Without backlink making software)

How do you normally find where to make these backlinks?

Do you use anchored text?
#backlinks

Do about 50 backlinks per day. Come from articles but mainly from blog comments and forum postings. All done manually and yes they have to be anchor text.

Maybe around 20/day. I think you can do 100/day without getting penalized by Google.

Approximately it ranges between 40-50 per day. I use several sources like forums, articles, hubpages, squidoo lens, blogs, directories, social bookmarkings etc.

Don't worry about it because you can't make enough to raise any red flags.

There are opposite opinions on this and I'm sure both sides will be arguing over it. Some say you can trigger a penalty if you build too many backlinks too fast, others say it's all BS. Both sites will give examples of why they are right. The truth told... neither side really knows for sure.

And, some days I make zero and other days I may knock out a couple hundred. If I were organized and followed my gameplan I'd be averaging around 50 a day or about two hours worth of time.

About 30 a day, however I don't really think it matters that much to google and the other search engines. I wanted to see if there was any truth in the "banning" for building links too quickly that people of. I hammered one site with 100's a day to see and nothing happened. But then I suppose I could have been lucky.

maybe on a weekend i create 30-50 backlinks in a single day and do not work the whole week.. You wouldn't be penalized for creating lots of links in a single day.. It matters only when the links are not coming from a proper place. There are many people who have proved this. Usually google takes time to recognize links and it doesnt actually matter!

Forget trying to figure out how many backlinks you have to do per day. Concentrate on good keywords. If you have to get more than a few hundred backlinsk to get on the first page then you need better keywords

I agree with Jason Morgan, you can't get enough in a single day that would cause red flags. Personally I vary it, with different sites each day.
