PageRank problem

I had a quick look at your backlinks and noticed that a lot were of low quality in other words the pages your links are on don't have any page rank.

The way link juice or PR is passed from page to page is by a simple calculation.

PR of page / links on page

so for example your link is on a page with a PR of 5 and there are five links on that page you would get a 5th of the link juice.

But remember there is a massive difference between PR.

PR 2 is 10 times more powerful than PR 1 and 100 times more than a PR 0.

Your best bet is to forget about PR and focus on keywords.

Look at the keywords you want to appear on page 1 for, then look at your competition. Try and get links from the places as them, not only will you dilute there PR but yours will rise also by focusing on ranking high for keywords that bring you traffic.

I would suggest starting with 3 word keyword phrases with no more than 150,000 competing sites.

It's all about building authority if your ranking well for 3 or 4 word phrases then it's much easier to start ranking for a broader term that has a lot more searches

Well my search results are quiet good actually "Back office outsourcing UK" & "Business Process Automation UK" are the two major keywords and are on first position...

I had some doubt about the term "Quality and Relevancy of link"

We can define quality by: good reputation, PR, Links, content and bla bla

But what actually you mean by Relevancy. We provide Outsourcing services majority in UK and Europe, so what could be the most relevant site to back link?

Moreover, i had a discussion with one other SEO expert somewhere in India, and according to him posting a blog comment in even an completely different site for example budhism site be as important as linking to a business outsourcing forum...

This SEO is really a myth, what to do and what no to ....

Getting backlinks from high page ranked pages is the key to the improvement of the page rank of your site, not just getting backlinks from anywhere.

Add more content and more backlinks and that will bring you the results you are looking at

I totally agree its not a myth, But if you thoroughly go through all the comments in this thread, you'll definitely find strange and drastic contradictions that will end people like me in great confusion that what to do and what not to...

When almost you've done everything for your domain from last 1 year, and still you are on the point, you did it right or wrong?
was all those HIGH PR Sites and blogs were really relevant. In fact above all, Does PR Really justifies the time and investment you've spend on that? ....

In fact i'm, on this particular topic, using 4 forums for best possible conclusion, but trust me, about 100 SEO guys have replied with most of them "SEO SERVICES" in their signature, giving such opinions....

if you are getting backlinks from the sites which have no page rank or low page rank or many external links than you can not call this quality. if you want to increase your site page rank than you have to place your links on sites which have good page rank and not more than 5 to 6 external links on that page.
