Adsense Question - Impressions Don't Match Traffic Stats

I'm sorta of a newbie here when it comes to Adsense buy I was under the impression that my impressions for a site in Adsense should match the unique traffic numbers for the site.

For example, I have a site that says that I have received 20 unique visits today but only 1 impression is showing in Adsense. The total for this website is 200 unique visits for the month according to my traffic stats in my cpanel, but for entire month I have only about 25 impressions in my Adsense account. Is this right or is something wrong here?

Thanks.

A good percentage of users block Adsense and other advertising. In my experience it ranges between 10% in non-tech niches up to 50-60% blockage in tech savvy niches.

Thanks. It's in a non-techie niche but I will keep this in mind for my other niches as well.

How are you checking your "20 unique" visitors stats? if its in your hosting cpanel then thats why as they also count SE robots as hits.

Use Google Analytics to see a more correct figure on your traffic.

Right now it's just through my cpanel. I have heard some conflicting stories on whether or not to use Google Analytics but I might use it on this site to see exactly the traffic I am getting. If the rest of the visitors are only SE robots then my site is not doing as good as I hoped

      Thanks!
