I just realised something about ranking... DUH

I feel pretty dumb.... Ive been posting many articles to ezinearticles however I just thought why dont I get my website and add Blog/news.

So I did.
www.mywebsite.com/news

Why send ezine the traffic when I could be sending it to me and the same time getting fresh content for my otherwise static website. Improving my rank and traffic.

Anyway probably everyone already is doing this but I just had a moment.

    Good thought but you must ask yourself, does your website have the same power as ezinearticles. Can you generate the same traffic, in most cases no. But eventually it could in a niche market if you do enough SEO but do not expect same effects in time frames

    Of course my site doesnt get the traffic that ezine does, but why help them get traffic when I should be helping myself? I still post articles at ezine, just post the best content on my own site and more of it.

    jimkirk1943 - I simply mean I have a website, and I have added a blog onto it, I link the blog back to my site.

    Example www.mysite.com I added www.mysite.com/news

    The news lists all my posts, and links back to main site.
