How long before google indexes articles from a submitter?

I submitted an article via Distribute Your Article.com a week ago and none of the articles have been indexed yet.

Does anyone have any experience with Distribuite Your Article and how long usually does it take before articles start showing up in search results?

    There are two parts to this answer ... and I feel you have gotten them mixed up.

    First, Google has probably found your new content and spidered it (assuming there is nothing seriously wrong with the sites it was posted to). Most people think indexing when they really mean spidered.

    Now indexing will depend of a few other factors (ie the secret source of the google ranking alg). In particular, does the page have enough page rank to get indexed? Google most likely knows about your content - it probably just does not have enough authority to show up in the search engine results just yet.

    Seriously though, don't worry about it. Just set your articles off into the wild and forget about it (it is beyond your control anway unless you want to try and create backlinks to your backlinks). Just create quality content to your own site and quality content to promote your site. Focus what you can control.

    The other point about article marketing is that you distribute it to more than just one source. Join other article distribution sites and post it there. Do a bit more SEO research and Google the title and see where similar articles have been posted.
