Google De-ranking my website

hi warriors,
one of my sites keeps getting de-ranked on google.
Not sure why but when it ranks it is on pos 7 of google
and then the next day it's gone

Here's what i did try though. I socially bookmarked this site
and then it reappeared but now its gone again. lol.
I tried to SB again but it didn't work this time. I think the next thing i may do
is submit my sitemap to google webmaster tools. that might do the trick.

does anyone have any good fixes for this problem?

The usual reason would be engaging in questionable seo practices apart from the obvious changes in rankings frequently if it is a new site

i don't really do anything out of the ordinary (article marketing, blog commenting etc. ) so im not sure what you mean by questionable seo practicies. It is a fairly new site about 2.5 months old. maybe that might be why? im not sure.....

I have sites behaving the same as yours.

For new sites that kust started, somehow they get rank to the frist few pages. But after sometimes, the ranking will start to reduce and finally settle down. You will need to work hard to get it to the first few pages again. Not easy lor

Your experiencing the Google dance....as Google is digesting your new links your site will bounce all over the place and even sometimes disappear from the SERPS all together for a few days but give a week and it will settle and may even rank higher...is your site new? With that new algorithm Google seems to have newer sites dancing around quite often....just keep building backlinks and your site will be fine..

There is also the Google caffeine update that may be to blame. A lot of websites are seeing fluctuations in rankings. Best thing to do is (if it's a blog) keep the content fresh and make sure that your backlink building strategies are fully white-hat.

It's basically a system that is supposed to help Google provide more accurate, varied search results a lot faster. In conjunction with the "Mayday" update, it is the reason you can type in business card holders and see brand results, shopping results, then the top 10 organic rankings. It also made the sidebar of Google search results a little more Bing like with the options of Everything (to search the whole web), Blogs, News, Videos, Images, etc.

Also, Google is now taking site loading speed into consideration. They want to provide websites with good user value in the results, and slow loading sites are not good for browsers. So if your site takes a while to load, you may want to do some optimization and see if that helps steady your rankings.

Don’t get frustrated.. This happens, especially with a new website. Just keep building quality relevant backlinks.

I had a site that was fluctuating like yours. It eventually settled in position 1-3. I kept on building links to it and it settled. Another thing is to make sure you don't have 2 seo optimizers on your site at once. For example using all in one seo plugin with the thesis theme with the seo settings in place. Don't double seo optimize, so to speak.
