question about google keyword tool...

when using the keyword tool i put the match types to (exact) but when i enter the keywords do i have to use " " or not? if them match is exact then do i really need the quotation marks for my phrases?...thanks for any info...

    There are actually a couple of versions of the Google Keyword Tool. But with either one of them, once you do a search and get results, you can then select either "phrase match" or [exact match] and it will show you the numbers for each. You do not need to type the quotation marks in the search box. Just type the words for each keyword phrase, one phrase per line, and get the results. Then you can switch back and forth between the different choices:

    With this version of Google Keyword Tool, the MATCH TYPES selection box to switch from broad to "phrase" to [exact] match is at the bottom of the left column of the screen...(but it won't show-up until you type in and conduct a search)

    Try it and see what happens.
