Is Adsense Still Very Profitable?

Hi,

im thinking about trying out these Adsense mini sites. In fact I have a blog on treating high blood pressure that gets on average 50 uniques per day to it and im doing nothing with it at all.

Im wondering if I strap some adsense ads to the site if I could be making some money with this site.

But basically, can someone make hundreds per day with a lot of these adsense mini sites? There are so many small niches to target and adsense just seems easier to me than clickbank products in these niches. I was thinking about this yesterday but Adsense has to send me this PIN number which is taking forever to arrive

Any advice and I would appreciate it Thanks!

Yes you can make good money with Adsense.

With your site getting 50 uniques a day Id be confident in saying yes you would make some money the 1st day you put the ads on as long as all other factors are in place. (ad placement, targetted traffic etc)

Having lots of sites can work, but Google appears to be waking up and you may be better off making fewer sites with more pages just to be on the safe side.

well what if I create say 10 content sites? Each site would have say 10 pages of content. As long as most of the site is content with a few adsense ads this would not make Google delete my account would it?

The content would be quality and helpful then I just put the adsense on it. First goal is to create helpful quality information, then to place my adsense correctly. Hopefully this would keep me safe from Google thinking my site was made for adsense.

Corey that sounds like it should be fine but I'm not Google
Yeah I think 10 pages a site would be ideal but remember the more sites you make the higher your costs and that doesn't necessarily mean you'll make more money.

Good luck and the important thing is to just start

PS: Ive always added adsense code from the start with no problems. As long as you have 1 article it should be fine but as weve said you dont want to just have 1 article for too long.

everything is profitable as long as you promote it in the right way. But I can say that I think that nowadays adsense is getting too many competitors, there many other companies that are trying hard to pay more than adsense and introducing new services like cpv, cpa, and many others... also that there many potential websites who prefer to add their own ad systems... so by the time I guess adsense is getting weaker and will be losing customers and publishers....

But I believe that Google always will think about something

Adsense will always remain at the top. You can use other platforms such as bidvertiser, adbrite, but no one will pay you as mush as google pays.

Yes adsense is definitely profitable and in my opinion one of the easiest affiliate marketing programs there is. Google ensures it's clean so you can be sure that if you abide by its TOS, and work hard at it, you will see very good profits made.

You can do that. 50 unique visitors are enough for a site. I have a mini site with only about 30 - 40 adsense impressions per day but giving me about $30 - $50 per month. And it's the site which niche actually don't have enough related adsense

The most challenging job you'll face is how to convert those 50 unique visitors into adsense clicks. Take a look at my sig on my experiment to boost adsense CTR.

I make a full-time income just from Adsense. It takes a lot of work and it didn't happen overnight, but it absolutely can be a great income source. The key is in your niche and keyword choices, and in your ability to stick to it and not quit adding content all the time. It builds up and pretty soon every month starts earning you more than the month before.

What you need is knowledge about how to pick the best niches and keywords, how to put up sites/blogs quickly but with quality content, how to place and blend your ads correctly for maximum CTR, and again, a willingness to keep at it for months, if not years.

I would rather build more pages into an existing site, get more quality backlinks, do laser-targeted keyword SEO on the main page, etc. rather than build several mini-websites with few pages.

Each model - a few big sites with lots of pages or many small sites - has its pros and cons. I usually prefer the smaller sites model, but I've had success with bigger, more authoritative sites as well. The reason I prefer having more sites in more niches is that it spreads your risk when Google makes inevitable ranking changes. If you rely on a handful of bigger sites for your Adsense income, it can devastate you when one or more of them gets dropped in the rankings and your traffic dries up. You get big swings in income. With a lot more sites, that risk is mitigated and your income remains more stable month to month.

Also, if you're like me, you burn out trying to write 50 pages of content for a bigger site. I hate burning out, so the small site model keeps me fresher and able to work longer. If I can build a new site in a new niche ever day or two, the work doesn't burn me out nearly as much. That's important!

On the other hand, bigger sites often can bring in some good Adsense money. So if you are really passionate about the niche and can write lots of content without burning out, I say go for it! You don't have to do either/or. Mix some bigger sites in with smaller micro niche sites. You put your eggs in more baskets that way, and that's always a good thing when you rely heavily on Google for traffic.

    Corey,

Its a good foundation, I would start with 2 sites first, build them both up like you said with 10 ages each, drive backlinks and then move onto the next. If you start on all of them from day 1, you WILL bite off more than you can chew. AdSense requires lots of hard work, determination and a positive mental attitude. You also have to be incredibly organised because you can quite easily get lost in what to do if you don't have a plan.

What John (Zeus) said is excellent advice and I would follow that.

I have lots of Micro Niche sites which I am now slowly but surely building up to become authority sites. I also have small medium size sites prior to my AdSense days which I am tweaking to fit around the AdSense model.

Just never ever compromise on the quality of content.

    Hope that helps

Think about your market, do they want what's offered on the Ads? Are your ads positioned in a way that almost forces the customer to click without being "all up in" their face?

Maybe test a new layout, but honestly 50 hits/day on SEO isn't much. Just keep building links and yes you might want to start researching some ideas for a new site.

"Very profitable" is a subjective phrase, for the amount of effort required (little or none) AdSense can generate revenue. That said with effort their are more lucrative channels.

AdSense is the king but it requires lots of hard work and determination. The end result will be a constant stream of income.

Adsense really isn't so different than most other ways to earn money online. The big exception is you aren't selling directly, so you avoid all the customer service and inventory/return headaches. No small thing, that.

It ultimately comes down to traffic and conversions. Nothing new in that. For Adsense, that means picking keywords that get good traffic every month and are not that difficult to rank for. Enough of those will bring you the traffic you need.

Where most Adsense publishers go wrong (in my view) is on the conversions end of things. They stick their ads in the oddest, most useless locations on the page. And they fail to blend the ads in with the rest of the page. They end up sticking out as obvious ads - the kiss of death for Adsense CTR.

So I say work on bettering your conversions first, then worry about traffic. Otherwise, you'll be wasting a lot of that great traffic with your 2% CTR! Get that up to at least 10% and then when the traffic comes, you'll start loving Adsense!

Although many website owners think that AdSense is little profitable than before, there are still many people who can gain big fortunes with Adsense.
Yes, many webmasters have built many MFA (made for AdSense) sites and earn much money online!

Adsense can make a very nice income, but it is not going to make you a millionaire with the exception of a very few.
