    Hi Warren,

Try blog commenting, forum commenting, yahoo answers, Twitter and Facebook, article writing to start. What have you done so far?

It doesn't matter if your site is free or paid. Is it indexed by Google?

If so, optimize your content for some keywords related to the theme of your site, and get backlinking. Organic search engine traffic is the best sort of traffic you can receive for Adsense in most cases.

In fact, if you're receiving the biggest portion of your traffic from elsewhere, it's likely to be less targeted / the people are less likely to be in a clicky / "buying mood", which will either result in a low CTR or very low converting traffic which will ultimately get you "smart priced" or banned from the Adsense programme.

IMO you need a major overhaul of your strategy.
