Why I Love Adsense...

Many people love Adsense because:
It can be residual source of income
It is one of the easiest income model
It is scalable
etc...

So what do I love Adsense?

Simple: I love building new websites.

And so, since I like building websites, add content, do promotion, I might as well slap in some adsense to make money.

Perhaps that's one unusual (even unorthodox) reason for you.

all true but best not to rely on it as a single source of income....if Google decide to slap you then the income can dry up overnight.

If you are on the up and up, you never have anything to fear.

But diversifying is not a bad idea.

I am not so sure about that with all the stories I have heard. I can agree most of those who get banned are not as innocent as they make themselves sound, but Google seem to be trigger happy with the bans and arrogant with their power.

I am very small fry with this stuff, but to be on the safe side, I decided to get another account yesterday since I have a LLC anyway. I just moved a site to another webmaster account and applied. They approved my account literally a few hours later so it appears it is easy enough to get another account if worse comes to worse.

I suppose things would have been more complicated if I had moved the site from a banned account though.

Adsense is a good start to test the responsivness of your visitors but there are so many other advertising methods that pay better than adsense.

you can use adsense at first but i would definately look at other methods to upscale your profits.

      hope this helps

AdSense is great, I make between $10-20 daily on some ridiculously simple sites I've made.

I like adsense because of how easily I can tailor it to my marketing goals and needs. It is dynamic which gives me some freedom I am other wise denied when it comes to direct sale advertisers.

It can be used in any site or blog, as long as it doesn't violate the google adsense TOS.

    Joseph,

Exactly my feelings. I love to design/code and study/write content in different subjects.

That's why I launch new sites every week and, obviously Adsense is a hell of a partnership.

Adsense is about consistency of doing something and not knowing what the outcomes are, that's from my experience. If you do the right thing in the right direction with enough time you will eventually make it with Adsense just like anything else in life. Adsense is like you sow today and reap the harvest 6-12 months later provided that you sow with the right seeds or else you harvest pennies.

I am addicted to Adsense too he". I should have got another stream of income, just in case adsense earning is down or something. I have enough backup accounts to if google ban me.
