strangest thing with PPC

My hobby is electronics. For some time I am a member of this electronics gadget forum. I started publishing a link to my eBay auction of a particular gadget related to this focus group.

When I publish that link in the forum, they want to byte my hand off. There are always few orders per day, quite often multiple orders, like 3 or 4 items at once.

I want to learn PPC, so I told myself this is going to be great way to dip a toe into AdWords waters. Particularly, since there is 0 competition and bids for ads are sub $0.05.

I started AdWords on this same product, that sells like hot cake on the forum. Took out all the relevant keywords, about 300 of them. I am constantly getting top ad position, the one above search results. I took all the limits off: content network is ON, all G7 countries are ON, everything is ON. Ads are exposed to the same focus group, but to the much wider audience. And what happens?

Nothing. Nobody is biting my hand off? No clicks, no sales. Totally strange.

I would say that all the brief info is already there. Is there anything else, apart from the particulars of the product?
