Hi warriors,

I know that to get the most out of adsense, one should choose a color which blends with the text. I just changed the color, but it looks too dull. What Do you think? Should I change it and make it a little brighter?

Thanks

    Hi tush,

I think it looks just fine the way it is, however I am an advocate of testing everything. Why not set up an A/B split test to see which variant works best.

I like the way you have it. It uses a complement of the
header and button color. I always advise against using
the green for the link color. Use a visible gray.

And when you test, which is a great tip, you need to leave it
up for a good amount of time. I think even google says to
      try it for 2 weeks.

Now this is just our opinions, so if you really don't like the
color scheme, you need to realize you are not necessarily
doing it for your tastes, but what will get more clicks.

Once you are satisfied with the colors, the real trick to
getting more clicks to dramatically increase your traffic.

When people talk about lack of clicks, what they usually
suffer from is a lack of massive amounts of targeted visitors.

If this is one of your first endeavors into adsense, also realize
that the ads should get better over time.

      Patience is a virtue.

@ Paul: Actually this is not my first endeavor into adsense. I have earned a number of checks but I want to improve the same.

I will change the code and make the colors brighter. The results are horrible. I guess this particular code blends too much

I wonder what a typical CTR would be for a website like that.

I mean if it's 100% SEO targeted.. Any thought on that?
