Kontera is it a nice addition to adsense? Looking for another revenue stream for my blog. Adsense works well but I am looking at Kontera for in content links. Anyone have any experience with them? Are they worth implementing on my blog?

If you can get the people to click on the links, then it is worth it. Just customize it to limit the amount of ads it shows or else you can end up with your whole page underlined with ads.

Actually i wouldnt suggest to use multi ads at your site. For the kontera, it is good since it provide inner taxt link which mean 100% sure that not against adsense TOS. However, i will say the inner text link will actually sow down the page loading speed

You can also use infolinks... I've heard that it pays well.

Kontera is nice if you want $0.01 income from ads, otherwise it's junk that slows your page loading down for some users.

If Kontera show higher eCPM ads then I'd stick them back on, but my trial looked like a waste of time.

I like their stats page though.

Yes, Kontera is another great source of income after Adsense. It has lots of advertiser and pay good money as well. However your earning depends on traffic that you got on your sites.

We guarantee the highest paying revenue share in the industry and our ads can run alongside Adsense as they don't violate Google's TOS. There's no need to be concerned about loading time either because the Infolinks script starts running just after the web page is fully uploaded; Infolinks cannot and never slow down your page. Anybody have any success with Info Links? I want to test some new strategies and do not want to live in fear of the Google ban so I was looking for another similar source.

I was just at a site that was using Kontera and linked to the keyword "Palmtops" was "Remove cat hair lint with Bounce sheets".

Their contextual targeting sucks. Go for a business that's going to get ACTUAL relevant ads. Not random things. Nobody's going to click on a bounce sheets ad that's being served on an electronic review site.

      Hey RedStapler,

I think we've touch based on this issue previously on Digital Point.

While no In-text ad network is 100% relevant, thanks to our superior contextual algorithm, we by far come the closest. Our algorithm considers everything from the subject matter of your article, geo-targeting, advertiser's preferences, traffic sources, current campaigns running, and more to ensure that your receiving the most relevant and effective ads.

Additionally, because of that geo-targeting aspect, the ads you're seeing aren't always the ads people in other parts of the world are seeing, so as a Publisher you'll still be earning revenue from relevant ads even in that rare instance that you don't see them yourself. Also, because we're launching new ad campaigns every day, our ad inventory is only continuing to grow.

Here at Kontera we pride ourselves on having the most relevant ads and I think if you give us a shot, you'll agree.

    Hey Jay,

My name is Jonathan and I'm the Community Manager at Kontera. I think our network would definitely be worth you implementing.

What makes Kontera so effective is our Contextual Technology, an algorithm that can read your webpages for meaning. This extra layer of targeting allows us to pinpoint the most relevant ads for your content, which leads to higher CTR and better CPC. A company like Infolinks in contrast, can only scan your website for keywords, which is far less relevant, as for example, that doesn't tell you if a subject is being brought up in a positive or negative context.

Another advantage of our network is Kontera's exclusive ad inventory from such big name brands as Microsoft, Dove, Dominos Pizza, L'Oreal, National Geographic, and more. These premium, often Rich-Media ads get the biggest response from site visitors, offer the best possible CPC, and are only available on the Kontera network. Our competitor who commented on this thread rely solely on generic ad feeds and have no comparable inventory to offer.

Additionally, Kontera offers the most competitive rates for Publishers. We currently offer new publishers a 70% revenue share, and also offer them a $50 bonus if they have at least 25,000 U.S. page views during their first 30 days on our network. Also we recently lowered our minimum payout threshold from $100 to $50, across all payment methods. Payout rates at our competition vary between $50 - $400 depending on the payment method.

Hope that helps you out Jay
