Why is my site not indexed?

Hello everyone,

Two of my sites :
boxingshop.info
boxingmusic.info

have been up and back linked for around 9 months and yet have no presense in google what so ever, I've tried to figure out what the problem is but to no avail.

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this, I only bought the domain a year ago and can't think of any reason why it would be in the sandbox .

Thank you.

I won't pretend to know the exact reason why this is happening, but I feel it may have something to do with the previous history of the sites. I had a similar case where a domain was de-indexed - the only reason I could find was that Google evaluated the entire history of the site and found it to be "suspicious".

According to Whois, your sites have a following IP History: 12 changes on 9 unique name servers over 5 years.

This most likely has something to do with it.

Make sure you have the site in Google Webmaster Tools.

Build the site consistently with original content.

Build your backlinks in a way that looks natural.

Then submit a request for reconsideration to Google. There is a video that explains what Google wants to see if you are requesting that a de-indexed site be reconsidered. Make sure you watch it and follow the suggestions.

I had a bunch of domain names de-indexed when they were parked with a parking service that was less than kind to them. I've been able to get most of them back in Google's good graces, but there are still a few hanging out there that I'm working on.

I am almost certain that the domains had been banned by Google when they were owned by somebody else as suggested by Josip.

Honestly, it would be much easier if you register new domains and mount on top of the existing content.

Yes, Derek has a really valid point here. In 99 cases out 100, it would be more wise to simply move the content onto a brand new domain.

After looking at your website I can see a few problems, some people may will disagree with what I say now but I have put a lot of time and effort into ranking in google.

    1) Little or no content

    - You've got to have some targeted pages with good unique content else how will google know where to rake your site. You need your chosen keyword in the url, title, head and tags and make sure that you have well spun link anchor text linking in

    2) No privacy policy and no terms page

    - you may think you don't need these but the Big G looks for these little things to tell if sites are reputable

    3) Make some articles and put them on your website

Get some great readable content and put it on your website, even if it's under a "posts" menu option or something. you may not want people to go there from your homepage but they will feed in from the web onto your site

There are lots of other things you can do but these will get you started. I am sure if you look around the forum you will find some great on-page SEO tips
