Is Google Analytics open to anyone?

Do you have to be an Adwords account holder? I am one, but I am confused about this. The site I used to forward my adword clicks to... I want to do GA on it first. But site #2 is where I am sending adword clicks now. I want GA on both but I want to start with Site 1. And, I have been unable to make it work anyway... it's a Godaddy Website Tonite and I have tried, to no avail, to make GA work. GA never recognizes the site. Which is another issue. First things first, assuming I can get the code done right, is GA open for any site or what's up with that?

you just need a google account to sign up with analytics. So yes, it is open to anyone, and is free to use.

Yes, you can add as many sites within one google account as you like. It can be difficult when you use sitebuilders to get the code exactly where google want it and so sometimes it does not work, but, Google will tell you to place it right after the <Body> tag but that is not a must, as long as it is between this and the closing tag then it will be fine so you ca use your website tonight program and just insert an html block containing your google code.

    hope this helps
