I have been stock at 0 for about two months. Domain is over a year old. I started working on it March and it got it from a n/a to a 0. Can someone check it out. Domain is in my signature.

I get a nice amount of traffic since I post all around the country on craigslist.

It will go up just give it time and keep building high quality links in large volumes.

Are you just linking to Cragslist? If so then you will need to diversify you backlinking strategy. PR has little to nothing to do with traffic and a whole lot to do with links.

    When Google trusts your site

Just focus on creating more authority backlinks.

More link juice => More PR (Simplified)

When you get more backlinks from sites that pass PR.

Based on a quick backlink analysis on your site and most seem to be from comments on fairly low/no pr pages. These are not the cream of the crop when it comes to backlinks as many of the pages have so many outgoing links the pr is diluted by the time it gets to your link/site. I would diversify your link building strategy and get creative. Provide content that people would be glad to link to. You have an interesting subject matter that I am sure could get you some interest, but you need to make it more interesting so you can get some more natural links as well.

Would it help if I only commented on higher Pr sites. Say 4 and up?

Really why do you care about PR it does nothing for your site.? Think about SEO or sales or traffic, PR has never done anything to my sites except show them off, but really it never has done much.

Nope. Its the PR of the page that the link is on, NOT the PR of the home page that counts

Wait for it. Google updates it now and then, but you just have to wait. For all you know your site could be considered a PR 2, Google just hasn't released the new info yet.

Concentrait more on traffic. Is your traffic increasing? That would be good if it is.

    Hi cmo140,

Your PR goes up and down constantly based on indexed backlinks, however you are not able to see these changes in real time. The only time you get to see a change is when Google updates the toolbar data about once every 90 days.

but, so long it generates for me like $300 / month, i don't mind....traffic is still better than Page Rank

Right - attempting to get PR is very difficult - BUT - there are other more immediate items you can do. Yes choose a good keyword, because keyword is the main thing which highlights the website services. Right keyword is a very good option for promoting website traffic.

Do not focus on page rank. Unless you are selling links page rank will not make you any money. Instead focus on getting conversions and putting more money in the bank.

    Hi

A page rank of a website is depend is on many factor such as
    1. Content of your site=>your site must have unique or fresh content which is available only on your website
    2. Backlinks=>Page rank is also depend on number of quality backlinks but it has to be from high page rank and must have dofollow
    3. Internal liking structure of your website

IMHO, I just can't agree with this. I get domains with crap, and often 100% dupe content with high PR (as high as PR5) all the time. Of course, when could say that good content should be necessary or helpful to PR.....I just haven't found that to be the case in real life.

Don't you think you should be focusing more on getting higher search engine ranking rather than page rank? PR impacts only about 20 percent of your search engine ranking.

Agreed. It would be all well and nice if amazingly unique content was going to prosper above all but it simply isn't the case.

how to get more link juice???

    Promote the promoters....LinksB>>>LinksA>>>Your Site

and high pr links...lots of ways to get them...forum pages, blog pages, and of course building links to web 2.0's will eventually lead to your web 2.0s getting pr and passing more juice to your main domains...

You need to get backlinks from related sites and also from sites that are good for Google, i.e. having high PR. You can find out related forums, create an account and post useful information about your site/business them,
